The 2014 Dubai International Boat Show is the region’s largest marine leisure exhibition, attracting visitors from more than 70 countries as well as influential buyers and high net worth individuals from across the GCC. With 750 exhibitors from 50 countries and 42 total global and regional product and boat launches, the crowds this year were nothing short of delighted.

Among the 750 exhibitors was FUSION Electronics showcasing their industry standard FUSION-Link Technology and True Marine accredited products. FUSION’s True Marine products such as the 700 series stereo units where all designed and engineered from the ground up, specifically for the marine environment. “ The commitment FUSION has shown to the marine industry by developing marine specific products is appreciated globally and is the driving factor in our success” said Matt Forbs, FUSION’s Europe General manager

Visitors were captivated by over 400 boats on display, including 19 superyachts with a total value of AED 1.8 billion, which were located on the stunning waterfront Marina Display, as well as the extensive outdoor display area. Of the superyachts on display, the Nirvana and Quattroelle, two of the show’s largest-ever superyachts attracted an unprecedented number of patrons all eager to see what money can buy.

It was clear to see that the leisure marine industry was alive and thriving in the UAE.  “Dubai International Boat Show 2014 has seen another solid year of visitor attendance, from yachting aficionados to families, demonstrating Dubai’s success as a hub for the global and regional leisure maritime market,” said Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Dubai World Trade Centre.
