Last night, FUSION CEO, Chris Baird and lnternational Marketing Manager, James Hunt attended the NZ Hi-Tech Awards for the announcement that FUSION Electronics was nominated as a finalist for the Innovative Hi-Tech Hardware Product Award 2013 - for the industry-leading, True Marine 700 Series.
While the winners won't be announced for six more weeks, FUSION are honoured to have achieved finalist status and acknowledge that they are in excellent company, with the likes of Compac Sorting Equipment, 3i Innovation and ikeGPS alongside them in this category. With 120 entrants for this category being worked down to just 4, the judges had a tough job on their hands. According to Awards Chairman, Wayne Norrie, the calibre of both local and international people on the judging panel is "evidence of New Zealand's growing reputation as a high-tech hotbed."
FUSION Electronics CEO, Chris Baird said, "FUSION is excited to be announced as a finalist for this prestigious award. We were certainly up against some tough competition in this category and to make it through to the finals is a true testament to the hard work the team has put in to developing this world-leading, innovative product."
A previous winner of the NMEA Supreme Technology Award 2012, the accolades continue to roll in for the perfectly fit-for-purpose, True Marine 700 Series. Winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner held at SkyCity in May.... Watch this space.
