FUSION® a worldwide leader in car audio and marine entertainment innovation, is breaking further into the Canadian market with the announcement of Premium Imports Limited (PiL) new distribution agreement for both the automotive and marine electronics to further strengthen the distribution already in place with Land and Sea.

Until recently, PiL held exclusive distribution rights in Canada for the automotive brand. PiL’s President, Mike Brawley says “This announcement is incredibly exciting for us, It gives us the opportunity to position the brand with Canada’s best 12 volt retailers and draw on the attractiveness of a full car/marine product offering. With FUSION holding such a commanding presence in the marine segment, this will help us to raise the brand’s awareness on the automotive side as a strong mid to high end amp, speaker, subwoofer and active bass box supplier.

FUSION President and CEO, Chris Baird added “I believe that Premium Imports Limited (PiL) will propel us to double, or possibly triple our business in the Canadian market, if we look at other similar markets around the world.”

Baird noted the numerous accolades and awards that have been received lately with his Marine products including being named a finalist in the prestigious DAME awards at METS in Amsterdam and last year winning the NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) overall Technology Award. As a Kiwi company FUSION is also one of only four finalists in New Zealand’s highest technology award, which will be announced at a gala dinner on Friday 17th May.

“While arguably the #1 Marine Entertainment company in the world, we still have work to do in some countries, Canada being one of them. We have enjoyed tremendous success in the US market thanks to our partners at Westcoast Sales and we are looking to achieve the same with PiL. Now that we are standard fit on prestigious brands like Regal, Monterey, Sunseeker, Boston Whaler, Bavaria, Hanse and Princes, I am sure that we can also partner with some great Canadian boat builders!”
