However, it's our people who enable us to do this - so here we take a moment to introduce you to some of the team, based across the globe, that are bringing FUSION to the world...

When most of us think fishing, we think about lounging on the deck of a decent sized vessel, something at least big enough for a couple of chairs, your good mate, and a chilly bin. Jeff Sheppeard’s definition of fishing is something quite different… A veteran with 10 years of kayak fishing under his belt, Jeff says he finds it more comfortable to fish from his Ocean Kayak Prowler 4.3. “It doesn’t rock like a boat or bounce up and down.” He’s still got all the mod-cons though, to make the job easier, including a fish finder with GPS and a sail so that he can cover vast amounts of water, without expending all his energy.

With their headquarters in Albany, New Zealand and a presence in 40 countries around the world, Sealegs are taking Kiwi ingenuity, and FUSION Electronics global. Sold to emergency services, recreational boaties, A-list celebrities and exported the world over, Sealegs use FUSION exclusively as their standard, cutting FUSION mounting holes directly into their vessels while they’re in production. When asked about the partnership, Maurice states: “There’s a lot of synergy between the two companies, with the focus on design and engineering, build quality and performance. We’ve always appreciated the good stock supply channel, quality control and technical support and they’re ahead of the game with purpose-built True Marine products – we appreciate that!”

Kiwi celebrity Clarke Gayford is often heard on the airwaves of More FM, but when he’s not in the studio, you’ll often find him tackling another kind of waves, in his beloved boat. Read more and check out the pictures of his spiffy FUSION install here.

From Thursday 18 to Monday 22 of October, Southern China’s dynamic hub of Shenzhen’s marina came alive for China’s 2012 International Boat Show. FUSION, of course was among the group, both on and off the water. As well as being the provider of choice for many of the fit-outs showcased in the marina berths, FUSION’s exhibition stand was well attended, with live demonstrations of the 700 Series downloadable app on the iPad and all the latest FUSION wares on display. The iconic green aliens were spotted all around the venue throughout the day and the team had t-shirts for sale at the FUSION stand. See all the pics from the day here...
