Every year, in the middle of February, all available docks in South Florida’s waterways are populated by multi-million dollar yachts from around the globe, in preparation for the Miami International Boat Show. The show is so large that it is spread over three locations: Miami Beach, Bayside and Miami and runs for five consecutive days. The show boasts a gathering of more than 200 exhibitors from around the world and features seminars, charters and, for the first time this year, diving classes were available.

This year, Nautic - the Paris International Boat Show, turns the spotlight on innovation and interactivity. The Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris will be the place for all water-lovers to get together over 10 days from 3 to 11 December

The inaugural Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) is the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment. Based in Amsterdam, businesses travel from around the globe to participate and showcase the very best technologies and innovations in marine equipment. The FUSION 700 Series Marine Entertainment System was on display at the tradeshow and nominated as a finalist for the Prestigious DAME Design Award.

The inaugural Gold Coast Boat Expo was extremely successful, with 15,769 people through the gates and sales in the tens of millions during the three day event.

The concept was unlike other shows, set amongst the manufacturing centre of Australia’s biggest boats, the largest tinny manufacturer and a large number of marine service providers, plus charity and local community services benefited from the profits.

In October, Ft Lauderdale was host once again to its iconic, annual International Boat Show event. General public and boat builders came by the thousands to see the latest and greatest in marine at the show which primarily focuses on boats over 40feet. Known in previous years for having the best display of mega and superyachts in the world, the show did not disappoint this time around with a 149 feet beauty taking the accolade of largest boat being showcased.
