The Marine iPod Stereo Unit (MS-IP500) and External iPod Dock (MS-IPDOCK) are compatible with the following iPod models:
iPod touch Gen1 and Gen 2
iPod classic Gen5 (30GB, 60GB, 80GB) Gen6 (80GB, 160GB) and Gen 7
iPod nano Gen2, Gen3 and Gen 4

If you have recently purchased a iPod touch Gen2 or iPod classic Gen7, they are compatible with the following iPod sleeves:

Older iPod models are able to be connected to the Marine Stereo Unit through the auxiliary input, on the back of the Stereo Unit but are not able to be connected through the internal iPod dock.
